the "Classic Cols' challenge. Or dare our cycle race, The Ariégeoise it is mountainous!
In addition, there are 5 mountain stages of the Tour de France by bicycle from my home ..
There are more mountain lakes, and also more wild orchid varieties,
in the Haute Ariege in all other departments of France ! 
Plateau de Beille (visible from the kitchen),
offers the highest resort dedicated to skiing in France.
For architectural historians, and Axiat Route Cornices are part of a circuit chapels and small
Romanesque churches ; a dozen are between 5 minutes and 1 hour from home.
